Hair show!

So yesterday my school (OWATC) put on a sweet hair show! The theme was Avant Garde...which means like crazy weird high fashion stuff. Sooo...knowing i could do pretty much whatever i wanted, i just had fun with it! I had two models, my good friend Haylie and my long lost Taylor! They were amazing! I turned Haylie into a Jungle woman (as shown on right) and Taylor into a spider web deal (as shown on left). It was so fun but such a long day!! My feet are dead. Dead i say.

I LOVE Halloween!!!

I do not know why, but i love Halloween more than any other holiday! As soon as October 1st comes, I'm ready to do all the fun Halloween things! Like carve pumpkins, and dress up, and my most favorite......go to FRIGHTMARES!!!! I don't even care if it costs 42 dollars to get in now, I think its totally worth it! This year I have decided I am going to be a baseball player, for reasons that mainly are cheapness and inexpensivesness. Not a word. But I already have all of the things i will wear! mostly from all my softball days. Oooh another thing I love about Halloween is watching Hocus Pocus! which has been my favorite movie since I was 7. Maybe even 6. or 5. beasts the candy corns outta me. I seriously wish i was young enough to trick-or-treat though. I would love life then. but i'm not. 19 1/2 wouldn't fly these days. Well...with that said....Happy Halloween!!!

School blows.Spring break doesn't.

I usually enjoy school. I enjoy learning, and taking tests. But school is not enjoyable at all when I have three exams to take on the same day. But the reason i have to take them all today is because i am leaving for St. George tomorrow!!!! WWOOOOTTT!!!! See ya in like two weeks Weber State! you are NOT great.

Favorite new store.

I found myself a new favorite shopping destination today while i was out and about. It is the boutique on 25th street! they have the cutest stuff!!! and of course i couldn't leave without some sort of purchase...so i got a shirt and some earrings! I am going to go back in two weeks or so becuase the cute lady told me they were going to be getting in more new dresses and capris. so i am stoked for that! i got a new ctr ring too!!! yaya. yay for shopping mondays.

why oh why can i NOT stop?

Shopping. I have purchased way to many things this past week. It all started with my sexy new true religion jeans that i bought on monday. That was all Anne's fault.. then tuesday my mommy took me shopping and i got a new plaid shirt and some turquoise shirt. then today..i wanted to go shopping. so i did. and i bought a cute new dress!! And some sexy new high heels made by my girl fergie ferg. and a skirt. I was just on a shopping roll. And LAST saturday i bought a new shirt. I guess i have just been in the shopping mood. And i freakin had to use everything inside of me to not buy another pair of jeans today. it killed me. I dunno what it is about jeans, but they are my loves.

So i am arriving at school today..in the parking lot by the art building at Weber, and there was only one close parking spot left behind some dude's truck. Well it was a little close to the middle of the road and wasn't quite sure if it was an actual parking spot or if this guy had just made up his own little parking stall..well i was going to be late for class if i didn't park there, and i really couldn't tell! so i just pulled right in a parked. Well of course..after my class got out i went to my car and there sitting on behind my windshield wiper is a freaking parking ticket. Its only ten bucks so i probably won't argue it..BUT!! if weber state police dudes want me to park in actual stalls...they should plow the parking lot. then i would be able to SEE the actual stalls. Freaking butt wipes. And although this picture isn't my car or anything (i just found in on google, woot woot) it is exactly what it looked like. color and all. stupid weber cops.

Today was such an interesting day..I have been inspired to do something most people would find crazy. I am going to delete ALL of the music off of my Ipod that I wouldn't feel comfortble listening to if Pres. Monson was chillin with me in my car. Who knows how much music i am going to have left..but it will be worth it. An amazing girl in my singles ward gave this incredibly heart felt talk today at church about music, and she asked a question that really made me think..what would people think about me if they could only listen to the soundtrack of my life..? It made me think about all of the songs I have listened to! And everything that i have every said even..and i decided Pres. Monson would not love some of my musical choices. Call me cheesy. So what. But i sure do love my callings! I will share them, since i know everyone who reads this is just dying to know. I am
1. The communications specialist. aka i make up the programs every sunday and send out the ward email sunday nights! At first it was a little stressful but after the first time i decided it was going to be cake sauce. I am also..
2. The SECRETARY, yes..the secretary of the activities committee. haha. not sure what i do yet..but just being a member was fun, so i am sure this will be even better!

Welp..that is about all for today! I love SUNDAYS! THE CHURCH IS TRUE!!

A typical Weekend.

SOO..I had a pretty great weekend i'd say. Friday I went to an overnighter with my singles ward up at North Fork! I took Anne and Luke with me. We JUST about died. It was snowing cats and dogs. Luckily I had my dad's truck..or we would have been dead. My little Honda would have been buried. But it was really fun! We played fun games. Singles wards are fun. Then Saturday I worked at Bridal Corner. It was fun. Blaire with the hair was there. haha. Good poem. We have fun at work. I really do love my job though. I get to pretty much play dress up with really expensive gorgeous dresses. BUT now prom season is rolling around..not my favorite! But Bridal Corner has so many freaking cute prom dresses. Oh. and the picture is of my favorite dress of the day. and yes, we do have it at Bridal Corner:) ooooh and then after work me and Blaire with the hair went creepin around town. She is the funniest girl alive.

Funny thing..i just realized i hadn't updated my blog since like October of 2008. And it included various items that I forgot were on here! So..i took care of it! and I might try and have a sweet blog. If i have the time. School takes up all of my time! I am only three classes away from my associates degree..hard work really does pay off. And suprisingly my 14 church callings take up my time too. Ok..i just have two. But they require more energy than i am used to! And when i am not at school or working on church things I am working. Either at my Dad's hair salon, or at Bridal Corner! Which i love. Except it is really weird to be helping girls i went to school with. OR get this..I helped someone a year younger than me try on wedding dresses. Totally threw me off my game. Oh well it is a fun job!
